weekend post.
i think the giants completely fell off. they were the top of the nfl a few years back. now, they are just plain average. the running game is shut down. now they have to rely on the pass. i really do hope they pick it up. 8-8 is really unacceptable for a giants fan. i'm not saying fire anybody, but they need to make some changes and quick

This years heisman winner was mark ingram, the running back from alabama. i believe he is extremely deserving of the award. he has great numbers statistically. you can tell he is an intelligent man with a bright future on and off the field. this years heisman candidates were tim tebow(QB florida), colt mccoy(QB texas), mark ingram(RB alabama), toby gearhart(RB alabama), ndamukong suh(DT nebraska). they were all deserving of the award, but mark came away with the award. overwhelmed and emotional, he gave a tearful acceptance speech as he hoisted the heisman for all to see. basketball is my second favorite sport behind football. while i'm not the greatest at basketball, i do enjoy playing it. the stereotype that tall people play basketball is untrue. i like to play and watch basketball because they both are fun. my favorite basketball team is the boston celtics. on their team my favorite player is kevin garnett. the celtics are 16-4. they are doing pretty good so far, and i hope they go all the way this year.

BookFinder
BookFinder is great for, well, finding books. to get the book not much info is needed. one of the things needed is the name of the book. if you have the authors name you can find it also. the website even has recent book searches to hep you if your memory of the book is a little foggy. if the book is not written in english, no problem. they have a gadget allowing you to find books that aren't written in english. you can find books and compare prices with other websites to get the best buy. this is a great website for book lovers and book collectors alike. THUMBS UP!
Rock and roll hall of fame and museum
The rock and roll hall of fame and museum website is ideal for rock and roll lovers. not only modern day rock and roll but the classics also. fans and followers can see who was inducted into the hall of fame and when. there is info on past and upcoming events fans can attend. the hotel guide available tells visitors the different packages they have including many cities. you can buy dvd's and other goods from the website. they tell about exhibits coming up for fans to attend. i am not a rock and roll fan but i recommend this to all those who are. THUMBS UP!

Amazon
Amazon is a online shopping website. it is the main source for shoppers to go to for birthday gifts, holiday gifts, and casual gifts. it was originally a book website. they have sales all the time which benefits the buyer. amazon is one of the most visited websites during "Cyber Monday". during this time of year they receive lots of customers for the holidays. they have EVERYTHING. you name it they got it. from the most latest gifts to retro, they got it. i think amazon is a great shopping website for any type of occasion. THUMBS UP! Amazon
eBay
Ebay is a great website for people who want to buy used or brand new things. as a sales website i give it a thumbs up. you have lots of choices to buy from on ebay. there are plenty of sellers for every item on ebay, each giving different prices and ideas on the item. this gives you options on whether to buy from whoever you choose to. i think it is well organized and benefits the buyer. THUMBS UP! eBay
E! Online
E! Online gives the latest information on celebrities today. it has all the gossip that people in society want now-a-days. for example there is a story covering tiger wood's car crash. there is nonstop coverage on the twilight stars Kristin Stewart, Robert pattinson, and Taylor lautner. while I'm not one to support the tabloids or gossiping, for those who do enjoy this is a great website. you can find info on your favorite superstars and catch up on the ones you hate. not only does it give info but it shows pics of everybody who's somebody. One of my hobbies is looking at modern furnitue. When i say modern furniture i mean exactly that. there is no encrypted message, just modern furniture. i look at it as art and creative skill. i find it interesting to see furniture that looks different and not like the typical thing you'd see in a home. things such as couches, chairs, beds, desks, and wall units are mainly made into modern furniture. i think its relaxing to observe the unusual furniture because it has a deeper meaning than meets the eye. modern furniture

My favorite games
I am a huge sports gamer. Ever since i was introduced to football it was like it came with a package. Madden, NBA 2k series and NBA live are my favorite sports games. I love challenging myself to see how smart a player i am and how good i am. Its a great feeling to get online, talk trash to somebody else, and back it up with a win. These games help me relax and have a good time

weekend post
One of my hobbies is watching standing up comedy. I usually catch it on comedy central. while not all the performers make me chuckle, a few really make me laugh. one of them is gabriel iglesias. He does some of the best impersonations and always manages to make me smile. Another is mike birbiglia. He is very sarcastic and is a smart comedian whose jokes make sense and still make you laugh. I'm also a fan of jo koy. He makes fun of himself and i can relate to him in certain ways. Someone who really impresses me is jeff dunham. He is a ventriliquist who makes his puppets come alive. My favorite would have to be kevin hart. He uses his imperfections to relate to his audience. He always has new material that entertains me. Some comedans can be found here.

My idol
Jared Allen. Big number 69. He is my idol. I play his position and hope to be as good as him one day. He is a defensive end who leads the nfl in sacks. He is an extremely hard worker and it shows on the field. Jared Allen mixes speed and power to get the job done. I study the way he plays and try to incorporate it into my style of play, finesse moves and power. I'm not to crazy about his team, the minnesota vikings, but i think he is one of the best players in the nfl.

The big game
Tomorrow i got a big game against the Marinners. This is the game that decides whether my team goes to the playoffs( i know, alot of pressure). The more pressure the more fun though so i'm prepared for it. Me and my teammates had a good week of practice so we should be ready. Gotta go to bed soon and prepare myself for a long day, so till next time. GO TOMAHAWKS!!!

Michael Jackson's: this is it
Wow. I'm not a M.J. fan by any means but that was cool. "wow" was literally my immediate reaction. You can really see the amount of work he put in to the tour. The fact that he left before his time, especially leading up to some thing huge like this, is a shame. He really is in a world by himself if you try and compare him to other artists. Like i said, i'm not a fan of him at all, but respect is given where respect is due. "This is it"

my neighborhood
I live in east flatbush. Not one of the brightest places, but its my area. Do i like it, not really. Bums asking you for a dollar all the time isn't fun. It's not the suburbs, but its always live. Never boring, always something going on. Whether it be two crackheads arguing, or a group of people dancing for fun, interesting things happen, making my life just a little bit easier. The train i take every morning.

Congrats Obama!!!
Way to go obama. Our first black president won the nobel peace prize. obama won for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples all over the world. after finding out he won, this was obama's response: "Let me be clear: I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations," he said at the White House. "To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize." other presidents who won are Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, and Jimmy Carter. For the wonder of it all
i haven't really been alot of places, country wise, but one particular vacation sticks in my mind all the time. My grandma took me and a few sisters to foxwoods in conneticut, and it was great. The actual foxwoods hotel is beautiful and they have a wonderful arcade and indian museum. My grandma likes it for the gambling, but i always enjoy myself one way or another. Foxwoods
One of my favorite artist
Although kanye west may have childish behavior at times, he is a great rapper, at least to me. His music forces me to look past his antics and what he does in the media and just relax. Kanye West
harry potter and the...
J.K. rowling is without a doubt my favorite author. I love the harry potter series and i think they're arguably some of the best books ever written. it's a shame she stopped at seven, the series is to good not to keep going. J.K. Rowlings
